Social Impact Manager – Location Flexible

Full Time - £30,000 pa

Hours – 37 hours per week

Mayday Trust is a leading charity that specialises in working with individuals going through the toughest of life transitions such as homelessness, coming out of prison and leaving care.

We explore people’s abilities and build on individual talent and, by providing the right intervention at the right time, people can transition out of their situations quickly, with dignity and respect.

The role of Social Impact Manager is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to not only provide specialist skills in data collection, analysis and impact reporting but to contribute to the social change that the Trust aims to achieve.

We see that traditional ways of capturing and measuring data in the homelessness sector are deficit based and can often re-traumatise, humiliate and dehumanise people at the receiving end. Our exciting new way of measuring people’s assets and strengths is key to challenging and changing this.

This role comes at a very exciting time as we replicate our new approach across a national network of partner organisations. The ability to do the technical work behind the scenes to analyse results, produce reports and inform strategic decision making must also go hand in hand with the ability to translate complex information into inspiring, real world language for a variety of audiences.

The ideal candidate will have technical data skillset with at least 2 years’ experience and will be excited to be part of radical social change (and won’t be afraid to shout about it).
