Housing Assistant x2– Northamptonshire

Full Time – 37 hours per week

Salary £17,900pa

This is an exciting opportunity for two experienced Housing Assistants to join its Housing team, operating within the Northamptonshire area – one to be based in Northampton and the other in Daventry, with the flexibility to work at any of our schemes in the county in line with business needs.

As the first point of contact for the people we work with in respect of their accommodation with Mayday Trust, you will provide front-line housing services, ensuring high level customer care and security.  You will assist the Housing Officers to ensure an effectively managed ‘portfolio’ of accommodation provided, which comply with current policies and procedures. Your role will ensure properties are kept in a good condition and well maintained and rent payments are collected promptly.  You will work closely with other Mayday staff across the county to ensure all schemes have a presence from the housing team.

Whilst experience and knowledge of Housing legislation & welfare benefit legislation is desirable candidates with previous customer facing roles will be considered.

It is preferred that candidates have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, but this is not essential.
