Mayday Trust provides Supported Housing for vulnerable groups. Whilst in most cases our staff are employed to support clients, there are occasions when the Trust also provides additional care.

Social care is one of the UK’s major public services. At any one time up to 1.5 million vulnerable people rely on social workers and support staff for help. The term “social care” covers a wide range of services provided by local authorities, charities and the independent sector.

Professional Side of Supported Housing

Mayday Trust and our employees are guided by the Code of Practice of The General Social Care Council. The council was established in 2001 to develop a code of practice and raise standards within the sector.

The Code of Practice covers a range of areas including: establishing and maintaining trust, promoting independence and protecting clients from danger, to themselves and others.

The Trust is committed to maintaining these high standards of support and/or care for all our clients.

Association of Real Change

Mayday Trust is proud to be a member of the Association for Real Change (ARC).

ARC supports organisations working with learning disabled clients to promote real change and campaigns on behalf of its members to promote best practice. It also offers information, support and an opportunity to influence the decision makers.
